Who doesn't enjoy eating a good salad? It's light, it's fresh and it's easy to prepare! You can make a salad with just about anything, but today we decided to stay in the classics. We are offering you a Caesar salad recipe to make on our Cooxy barbecues.
The ingredients (for 8 people)
2 large iceberg lettuces
4 chicken breasts (or 6 depending on the size)
6 slices of sandwich bread
For the sauce:
12 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons of milk
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan
2 teaspoons of mustard (old fashioned it's even better)
2 cloves of garlic
The preparation The first step in this recipe is to make the famous Caesar sauce. Nothing very complicated for that; place all the ingredients in a bowl [mayonnaise, milk, lemon juice, Parmesan, mustard and garlic (previously minced)] then mix. Season to taste. To make your Caesar salad, you then need to take care of the chicken and croutons. Start by lighting your Cooxy connected barbecue and setting the thermostat to 240° C using your smartphone. While the hotplate is heating up, cut the chicken breasts into strips. Once the requested temperature has been reached, pour a drizzle of olive oil on the heating part of Cooxy then place the chicken breasts and the sliced bread. Cook the meat for about 2 minutes on each side. The same goes for sandwich bread. Once cooked remove the meat and let it cool before serving. Then cut the sandwich bread to make your croutons.
The tasting Place salad, croutons, chicken strips and your delicious sauce on a plate. And there you have it, your Caesar salad is ready, all you have to do is adjust the seasoning, serve and enjoy!
